San Luis Ambulance Service provides paramedic staffed ambulances for committed stand-by's and "as available" demonstrations.

Stand-by's are often used for sporting events such as football games, rodeos, or large functions in which a dedicated ambulance is needed or required.

Demonstrations are typically put on by on-duty crews and are a way to show the community how and what EMT's and Paramedics do to serve the citizens.  This includes an overview of the ambulance, how it and the onboard equipment is used.  Since demonstrations are usually with on-duty crews they are only offered on an "as available" basis depending on the call volume of any particular day.
