Patrice O. (3*)

Patrice O. works for San Luis Ambulance as a Cricitcal Care Transport Nurse.  She has been a nurse since the age of 21, and a Critical Care Nurse since age 22.  She was hired 3 years ago as one of our first full-time CCT Nurses that got our program underway.

Patrice was honored this year because she is one of the kindest and most genuine people you could ever meet.  She exemplifies the qualities we appreciate in our employees.  She treats everyone with respect and makes you smile with every conversation you have with her.  She treats her patients like gold and gives them the very best of care, not only the best clinical care but also emotional care.  Being her friend is the feeling you get when working alongside her.

She has many talents both on the job and off duty.  She cares about her station and the people she works with by administering the station fund, and performing the station supply purchasing.  She is a great seamstress, often working on an employee's uniform, is a member of the SLO County Sheriffs Dive Team, and donates her time through her church to the children in Mexico,

Patrice embodies the best of both worlds for San Luis Ambulance.  She is clinically an ace, and a great ambassador for San Luis Ambulance Service.

We are proud to have Patrice O. as an employee of San Luis Ambulance, and the 2008 San Luis Ambulance Service Employee of the Year.
